A cool Jungle like scene along a river in Dominical, Costa Rica that spills into the ocean
Image of a crocodile in a small zoo at Los Lagos, Costa Rica. Crocodiles can be found in various rivers throughout Costa Rica and are in the river, in the image above this one, as well.
In the image on the left we find the Male double-crested basilisk (Jesus) Lizard. On the Right is the Female basilisk (Jesus) Lizard. Both have the ability to run across water combining speed with their back webbed feet.

Ramphastidae – Toucan
Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna, Costa Rica is an active volcano where one can regularly see smoke coming out of its opening and often see lava flowing down the backside at night.
Ice on the ground in the National Park up on top of Volcano Irazu
This is a traditional "Tico Grill" or (Costarican Grill) made from welding a tire rim to some rebar legs with some tacks on top to keep the grill top from sliding around. In December of 2015, with a strong desire to get my southern grill on, I went and found this cheap rim. I emediately walked it over to a metal shop located within a blocks distance from where I purchased the rim. The Metal shop added the hefty rebar legs & feet along with the tacks above and then painted it. This is a much cheaper option when you look at how expensive modern day grills can be. Also, I like that it doesn't take up much space and is easily transported. We have been enjoying some great cook-outs ever since completion of this fun project.
Irazu' at night
Some photos of some Guayabo indigenous kids in their class at Volcano Turialba in the Guayabo reservation. When a team came down from the US, we had the opportunity to stand in front of these students and tell them about what Jesus did for them on the cross.
Here we have some oxen plowing a field in a villiage called Bocaron up on volcano Irazu'. Often, I find myself using stories about oxen when i'm in bible studies in Costa Rica. I have noticed the correlation between a rocky field and a person who doesn't know Christ and has a heart of stone. In these photos we see Costaricans using oxen to prepare a field by turning up and removing stones as they cut through the field with their plow. Then we draw the spiritual connection with the heart of stone in Ezekiel 36.
Ezekiel 36:26 "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."
When farmers are preparing a field for the first time, they use oxen because they can't seed the field until the rocks are removed. Its the same with us as Jesus can't seed us with the Spirit until that heart of stone is removed and he has put a new soft heart of flesh much like after the tilling process which leaves the dirt soft And ready to seed. I believe that this plays a big part in what the bible refers to as the circumcision of the heart and plays a major role in being born again. (Rom 2:28,29)
This is a little river/creek off the side of the road and I just love the jungle like features
Barrio Nuevo De Curidabat, Costa Rica
This is a new village in Curidabat that I have discovered in the city near where we are now living in San Francisco de Dos Rios. This swinging bridge is the way over the river to gain access to this village where I now have a bible study in one of the homes there.
Here is a villiage in Costa Rica called Alto de Carmen/Las Brisas which is a village where the houses are mostly made from tin. In the distance at the base of the mountains, you can see San Jose which is the capital of Costa Rica.
